Bespoke Shapes or formats
There are two options available for tapering SpeedZip® Standing Seam Aluminium Roofing to provide a radii roof shape.
Roll tapering criteria:
Minimum sheet length – 3 MetresMaximum Sheet length – Maximum subject to transport Minimum dimension between seams - 220mm Maximum dimension between seams – 550mm
Specialist welded cranked aluminium standing seam roof sheets available all subject to transport. A cranked sheet is a bespoke fabricated SpeedZip® roof sheet formed by welding two SpeedZip® sheets. Used to form a ridge on a pitched roof removing the requirement for ridge flashing and the supporting ridge components or a change of angle on either the roof or wall.
The SpeedZip® standing seam roof systems are produced in ‘our state of the art’ manufacturing facilities based in Suffolk and delivered to sites throughout the UK and Europe. As a single source supplier of roofing & cladding / façade systems we always seek to minimise the amount of deliveries to any of your sites, reducing carbon emissions and delivery costs.
SpeedZip® standing seam is not restricted in length by haulage as onsite roll forming of the roof sheet is encouraged to minimise the carbon impact of production by reducing deliveries on projects over 3,000m2 or where sheet lengths are over 18.5m long.
There are two options available for on-site production subject to site conditions and parameters:
Ground level roll forming with sheets racked and packed on-site to be lifted up onto the roof for installation by our experienced roofing and cladding contractor.
Both of the on-site methods of production are suitable for all large roof areas requiring long sheets lengths, minimising deliveries, minimising packing and reducing carbon emissions. The mobile roll former can be quickly re-positioned, along the length of the building to minimise handling of standing seam roof sheeting.
All backed with our Protector System Warranty, providing a single source warranty for the whole system INCLUDING workmanship for up to 25 years.
