Purlin & Liner Systems

SpeedDeck’s liner roof systems used in conjunction with cold or hot rolled purlins are used for throughout the new build and refurbishment sectors of the construction market place.

Our solid & perforated liner (WalkLiner) roof systems manufactured in steel are non-fragile and fully walkable. A liner sheet can be quickly installed onto purlins, and thereby providing a weather proof environment to allow other trades to work below, thus enabling the rest of the roofing system to be installed without affecting the critical path of the construction programme. If high humidity roof or cladding systems are being selected then an aluminium solid or perforated liner (StramLiner) options are available.

The liner roof system can be used in conjunction with all of our standing seam or box profile systems laid across the cold or hot rolled roof purlins. The IsoBar brackets or for larger spans IsoBar Ultra brackets are fixed through the liner sheet into the purlin below, creating the void for the insulation to achieve the required U-Value performance criteria.

SpeedDeck’s WalkLiner when installed offers lateral restraint to the top flange of the purlin whilst providing a walkable platform by which the remaining elements of the roof system can be installed. The vapour control layer is formed in our solid or non-perforated WalkLiner & StramLiner with side laps sealed using 50mm SD Seal tape, and end laps stitched and sealed using 6 x 5mm butyl sealed within the ends laps providing a tested air leakage of 0.1m³/hr/m² at 50 Pa through the roof.

SpeedDeck’s selection of insulations including rockwool, mineral or glass fibre and in conjunction with our purlin and liner systems provide REAL choice with every aspect of achieving U-Value performance.
